The photography business has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Adobe has responded to this by offering students free access to Creative Cloud. Adobe has recently gone a step further. It is now allowing every subscriber to get two free months of the subscription service during this economic downturn and mandated period of staying at home.
Adobe has not made any kind of promotion or marketing. In order to get the free two months of service, a person needs to take a few steps. The first step is to log into your Creative Cloud account. The second step is to cancel the plan you already have. You can do this on your account overview page. Click on the cancel plan link. This does not cancel your account. Go through the steps to cancel your plan.
After completing the verification process, you will need to do some steps in order to confirm that you really do want to cancel. Do those steps, get past the feedback and details page. Go to the offers page. Be aware that if you see a warning regarding an early cancellation fee, accepting it and clicking past it could take you to the offer before you actually cancel your existing plan. The last step is to accept the offer. In order to keep you as a subscriber, Adobe will make you an offer in order to get the next two months of the same plan at no cost. Click to accept their offer. Now you have two months of free Creative Cloud service.
After you get to the acceptance page and click it, you will see a confirmation that your plan was updated with a free two-month trial. This information was share din a large online design community. One person replied to the thread in order to warn others that it is possible Adobe will try to start charging them for a new 12 month contract as soon as the free two months are up. Users should make sure they know when they have to cancel if they do not want to continue their subscription.
