Imagine a website that acts as a web development project launcher. Imagine a platform that allows you to develop a full stack at the back end and front end with full Bootstrap, React, Angular, and Vue integration. You would still need to provide the user interface, but the project would be hosted for free with secure socket layer and your choice of MySQL or MongoDB.
The above may sound as if it would be too good to be true, and this is exactly the sentiment that members of an online web development discussion forum expressed when a fellow member announced such a project. Originally, the project was one of many under the larger Material Design for Bootstrap, brand, and it is named specifically named MDBGo. Compare to the parent brand, MDBGo offers more integrated features with regard to hosting. The MDB platform is used by entities such as NASA and Amazon; MDBGo should not be confused with it.
For now, the MDB platform works by using MySQL, MongoDB, and Composer to host the database, without any configuration/configuration for users to make changes or manage their database. This project is available as a free, open source project and it is hosted on Github with active development. It is unclear how long it will be offered for free.
What it offers:
MDBGO offers a full-stack development platform with a MySQL server for your web site, and another server, that is able to host your files and databases like MySQL. At a minimum, the following features would be possible for this library, including using HTTP requests, PHP, and other open source projects and libraries with native support for native APIs:
Native support for MySQL
Native support for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite relational databases
Native support for MongoDB
Native support for MongoDB, MongoDB+, MongoDB+JRockit and MongoDB+Clone
Native support for Node.js
Native support for npm
