School Yard gives schools a chance to not only build a beautiful website, but to also tell their story on a truly visual level. They do this by taking the school’s individual graphic identity, and pair it up with beautiful graphic images and compelling content. Some of the features of a Schoolyard site include: a responsive design, curriculum guides and a curriculum matrix, sports schedule and results, a calendar, e-newsletters, secure portals, form builders and forms, and many others. Current schools utilizing the Schoolyard design strategy are the Bonn International Academy, Browne Academy, CAIS, Acadamia Cotopaxi and the Carey School. Schoolyard sites are powered by Drupal, which is an open source platform that is used by over 1,000,000 sites on the web alone.
